Budget Inn
The goal was that I create a new brand identity and system for a Bozeman motel. They needed a new logo design and help to expand the motel presence on multiple platforms for wider audience.
How I recreate Royal 7 Budget Inn brand identification? Who is my audience?
The location of the Royal 7 gave me some idea of a theme; Where Generations Meet. Bozeman is a place where families come to visit and socialize. I spent time researching the history, background and location. I spent a night and day observing who the audience was. The audience ranged from college students to old folks who need to spend one to two nights. The keywords that I am focusing the rebranding of the Royal 7 Budge Inn are youth, bold, fresh, welcoming and fun.

Logo Designs
I did many sketches for the Royal 7 in 6 different categories; monogram, logotype, symbols abstract, glyph literal, alpha-glyph, and combination.
I feel the strongest in my sketches was done in Monogram, the letter R and number 7 were combined. My goal was that my logo would stand bold and easy to recognize when driving by. The color orange was chosen to catch the audiences eye quickly.

Room Content: Breakfast Menu, Room Key, Door Hanging Card
Instagram and Magazine Advertisement Marketing
The instagram marketing was for college students or families. The magazine marketing served a purpose for targeting the older audience.
