I made a mockup website design to bring to the board to approve for new website design. I worked to make improvements from the old design with a new style guide and each page showing consistent design.
What is Montana Association of the Deaf (MAD)?
The Montana Association of the Deaf is a nonprofit organization. The mission is to promote, protect, and preserve the rights and quality of deaf and hard of hearing individuals in the state of Montana.
They provide the services that can help deaf/hard of hearing people around Montana. There are a couple organizations that they are involved with in the community.
Why I am involved with MAD?
Why I decide to make mockup website?
A couple years ago, I was asked to refine the logo for MAD. The logo is now approved by the board of MAD. I don’t change it unless the board of MAD asks me to.
Two years ago, the board of MAD asked me to take over the website. I’m in charge of making changes when they inquire for me to.
Now, I want to make improvements to the website and create better guidelines on style to help keep everything clean and organized. I want the website to be more inviting to people in Montana, to understand what services MAD can provide, and how to get involved.
